A “Snapshot”

Fit Studio was created from my desire and personal mission to help people learn how simple it is to get rid of fat, develop and tone muscle, and take control of the way they look and feel. I managed large, affluent health clubs such as The Athletic Club Boca Raton and The Athletic Club at Weston for over 8 years but was tired of the “membership game” and wanted to get back to the heart of the business which was having a direct impact on improving people’s lives through health and fitness.

At Fit Studio we believe in the power of synergy. Our service offering reflects that. We offer both private and team training, Pilates training, and comprehensive nutrition counseling complete with meal plans and appropriate supplement advisement.

We assess clients’ results on a monthly basis and track everything in state of the art software so they can receive a professional report on their progress or need for improvement. We also offer a guarantee of their results based on their adherence to our program.

I opened the first location in 2004 in downtown West Palm Beach. The location was a trendy shopping district called City Place. 6 months into it the business I was sub-leasing space from went out of business so we were able to stay for another year and then moved to our new location in Palm Beach County’s “Jewel” of the Equestrian and Polo world: Wellington.

In our first full year of business in Wellington we realized solid growth. We went from $70K in gross sales in 2005 to $207K in sales in 2006. The excellent location only ½ mile from the Wellington Green Mall and just around the corner from the area’s main thouroughfare, Route 441, proved worth its weight in gold because of the amount of sales from pure walk ins or “passers- by”.

Wellington is primarily a family community that has seen astounding growth over the past 6 years. During the Equestrian season (November – April) the population increases by another 14,000. Folks in Wellington have money and know the value of a fit, healthy body!

The Staff

Over the past two years in our new location I have been able to cultivate and mold what I would consider a “dream staff”.

I know about these things because during my tenure with the athletic clubs from 1997 – 2004 I managed over 50 trainers and I have seen it all! The staff we have now are passionate, dedicated, organized, and most importantly HAPPY in their career with the studio which means they exude only positive, motivating energy to the clients they see every day. Thanks to the help of NPE’s Duplicator system of staff management I was able to systemize the process of hiring, training, and managing the staff so they are virtually on autopilot at this point. Anyone new coming on board is simply worked right into the system.

Sales

NPE’s Autocloser program also helped in relation to our sales and closing success. In 2007 during the most notorious slow month of the year for South Florida (July) my little studio grossed 33k in new package sales! This sales system is in place and running smoothly...ready to be taken to the next level!

Evidence of this fact lies in our 2007 numbers, which show nearly 90% growth in gross revenue with over $385K in gross sales.

Community Awareness/Reputation

One of things I am most proud of with Fit Studio is the reputation we have in the community. We have many clients that come to us from gyms or other studios.
